U.S. Census reports bike commuting up 60% in last decade

The U.S. Census Bureau released research revealing that bicycle commuting has increased an astonishing 60% in just the past ten years.  But even with this growth in the popularity of the bicycle mode’s share, cyclists still only account for 0.6% of all commuters. (In case you are wondering–the percentage of commuters walking to work hasn’t changed since 2000, after decreasing by over 50% between 1980 and 2000.)
