In the far southwest corner of New York State, Jamestown (pop. 31,000) is striving to become the capital of comedy. Inspired by the hometown heroine Lucille Ball’s legacy of laughs, Jamestown’s leaders are seeking to make the city a magnet for not only her fans but fans of comedy as a whole.
