Development surges along Buffalo Metrorail line

The Buffalo News reports on the remarkable surge of development projects in the works along the city’s Metrorail line. Often lampooned as the “train to nowhere,” the future is looking up for the light rail system and the areas it serves. City planners point out that much of the coming new development is residential Transit Oriented Development (TOD) that will rely squarely on the rail.
