Long Island’s Town of Coram has been dealing with a shuttered box-style movie theater for four years, with the site not only an weedy eyesore but increasingly a magnet for graffiti, squatting, and other less than savory activities. This very site is now the site of choice for a town center development that would transform not only the site, but the entire Coram community.
