While details are scant, Governor Cuomo announced that his budget will include a whopping $30 million for restoration of and development around Onondaga Lake. The governor’s budget summary says that “$30 million is appropriated to support economic development and infrastructure improvements that encourage the revitalization of Onondaga Lake and its surrounding communities.”
