(October 31, 2011) Exemplifying the federal government’s work to return vacant or underutilized federal buildings to productive economic and community use, the U.S. General Services Administration and New York City Department of Economic Development recently held a groundbreaking for the conversion of a former Navy supply building in Brooklyn to a high-tech industrial facility that is expected to create 1,300 jobs.
