EPA issues guide to smart school siting

(October 18, 2011) Recognizing that “school sprawl”–situating of schools far flung from community cores–creates challenges for the students, families, and community as a whole, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is now nudging communities to site their schools close-in.
