Allegany County tells the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council what it needs and wants

The Western New York Regional Economic Development Council, one of several councils commissioned by Governor Cuomo and Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy, traveled to Alfred in Allegany County to hear residents’ ideas for boosting http://www.eveningtribune.com/news/x1069117465/Many-voices-heard-at-first-public-meeting-for-Western-New-York-Regional-Economic-Development-Council-in-Alfred economy of their region. Highest on the wish list for Allegany County is state support for advanced manufacturing and agriculture. The Western New York Regional Economic Development Council is one of several councils that together represent all regions in New York State. The Councils will submit economic development plans to the state–each vying for economic development grants to be bestowed by the state in November.
